The Film
This film was developed after the production of the film Greener Pastures by Joana Adesuwa Reiterer from NGO EXIT and Michael Sokolar from miso film. Both later started to write separate new scripts on the same topic. Michael worked on a feature production relying basically on his experience from Greener Pastures, while Joana based on long term research and detailed information from a victims of trafficking, developed her script. After realizing the similarities in their scripts, they decided to merge elements from both screenplays.
Michael focuses on developing the cinematic aspects of the film while Joana strives to keep the facts realistic.

NGO EXIT
EXIT is a non-governmental, non-religious and non-profit organisation based in Vienna, dedicated to combat human trafficking from Africa to Europe for the purpose of sexual exploitation. Founded by the Nigerian author and human rights activist Joana Adesuwa Reiterer, in 2006, EXIT seeks to educate African and European publics about the crime of human trafficking for Sexual exploitation.

miso film
miso film is an Austrian-based film production company founded by the film director Michael Sokolar in 2007, to foster the production of independent short films. Amongst the production of several short films like Greener Pastures and Vierzig Mal, miso film has expertise in web spots production, screenplay development and online marketing. miso film aids the production of unique low budget spots and short films for charity purposes by cooperating with other freelance experts in the film industry.
